About Film
UCTV Film is for anyone who has ever had any desire to be a part of creating a cinematic story for the big screen. Whether you wish for it to be a full-fledged career, or just want to be a part of a larger project, anyone is welcome.
There is always so much to do when it comes to creating a film; script writing, directing, acting, producing, and more! The goal is to bring a greater knowledge of film to the Storrs Campus and to involve the student body through screenings and festivals.

Kyle Barton

Kyle has been in UCTV for 3 years, and is our current UCTV Film director, helping others gather the skills to create their own creative short films. He is a senior DMD major, and has been a videographer since his middle school days.
When not in the office, Kyle is known for one wheeling and skateboarding around campus, as well as hitting the gym when he can and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
