UConn Women's Basketball was looking to avenge their Final Four loss last season at the hands of Notre Dame, and they did just that and more when they played the Irish Sunday evening. Reporting by Ryan Panny, video and editing by Kyle Barry.

The Huskies dominated Ohio State in their home opener at Gampel Pavilion with a final score of 85-53. 4 Huskies scored in double digits, led by senior Katie Lou Samuelson who finished the game with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

On Sunday November 11th, 2018, Geno Auriemma and the UConn Women's Basketball Team welcomed 6 year old Daniela Ciriello to the team with a honorary Draft Day. Daniela joined the team through Team Impact, a national nonprofit organization that connects children facing serious or chronic illnesses with college athletic teams.
