MISSION STATEMENT

UCTV strives to operate similarly to professional television studios in order to prepare students for careers beyond UConn, however, we acknowledge that some of these institutions fail to uphold principles that grant people equal opportunities based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, ability, or any other identity. Therefore, UCTV Uplift strives to be an example by providing equal opportunities for constituents by creating an inclusive space for our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color members. In 2021, Uplift plans to create video content, professional development & networking opportunities, and collaborations with several UConn affiliated organizations.
